HART relies on our devoted friends, new and old, to help us continue our lifesaving work.  Over 1,000 lives are saved each year, with only 3.6% in administrative and fundraising costs! Please remember us by attending our social functions or making a private or corporate donation. HART relies on volunteers like you to help us save more lives.  We have many volunteer opportunities like fostering or volunteering at our Adoption Days.  Do you have a special skill?  Can you help with fundraising?  Maybe you would prefer helping our public relations/ communication committee.  Contact our volunteer coordinator about what opportunity works best for you.  Thank you for helping us help them!
 

What is HART?
HART is a no-kill animal rescue/support group, incorporated in 1990, that takes in and re-homes stray, abused and owner give-up dogs and cats. Whether the animal is a give-up or a stray, HART works with local veterinarians, trainers, foster homes, and kennels to provide temporary care for an animal until it is placed in a loving, carefully-screened new home.
