HART Pups Star in Animal Planet Show!

"I just wanted to send a note to update everybody on our Animal Planet filming today. The concept is similar to their "Puppy Bowl" annual show but this time is an Olympics themed thing.  It will be called the "Puppy Games".  We brought 4 dogs...my Dewey, puppy Sandy, puppy Dick (now Dexter) and puppy Marley.  We arrived about 30 minutes early and we were immediately whisked to the swimming set.  We weren't supposed to participate in this event but...oh well.  They held each of the puppies over the water with a camera underwater and each of the lab pups moved their legs in a swimming motion yet poor Dewey just let his legs hang there like a dead dog.  Then Dewey promptly pooped on set.  Oh well, the labs had a grand time...ran and splashed and slipped and so on. Then the labs participated in a set where dogs of all sizes ran and played. Then on to the soccer game...and finally 4 dogs were chosen to participate in a special commercial for a bathing tool that was combination hose and shampoo dispenser.  Both puppy Sandy and my Dewey were chosen so both got extra special air time.  Today was very exciting for the dogs and for HART and for the new owners of these pups.  They will forever by TV stars!  The show will air on August 8 as a 3 hour show and will likely re-air during the month in it's entirety as well as shorter segments throughout.
