"We gave Sugar her forever home,
and now she is gone forever,
to be remembered forever."

Sugar was a loyal friend and companion who is greatly missed.
Rescued from an abusive home at the age of 18 months by Friends of
Homeless Animals (FOHA), she found her way in to the heart and home of
the Black family.
For eight years Sugar shared her spirit and zest for life with
everyone she touched.
Even in her final days, despite her physical condition, Sugar
continued to wag her tail and show her exuberant spirit.
HART will never forget Sugar. Although we did not have the opportunity
to know her as her family did, Sugar’s spirit has touched us deeply
and will live forever in our hearts.
