Scott - Adopted on 2/23/2013

Scotty is a very smart energetic dog. He absolutely loves to swim, and will even fetch toys in and out of the pool. He won't go outside without going for a quick swim. Scotty is pretty good walking on leash, and enjoys his walks very much. Even when he sees cats and squirrels on leash he will whine as they run away, because he thinks they were going to play with him. Scotty could be a great running dog, as long as he worked his way up to running. Scotty loves everything, kids, dogs, toys however he doesn't realize his size (he thinks he is a 20 pound lap dog) and can seems like a bull in a china shop, so young kids that can be knocked over easily would not be a good idea for him to live with. Scotty looks at cats and thinks they are playing so he will chase them but not hurt them. Scotty is crate trained and house trained. Scotty is always playing and when he runs out of toys he will find other things that are not dog toys to chew on. He will need someone who can keep him busy and give him a lot of thinking toys. Scotty will need a tall fence or someone who will walk/ run him regularly. Scotty is always a happy dog and would love a family to share his happiness with.
