Hi, my name is Chukie and I am a young, good looking boy! I am cat, dog , people and kid friendly. People keep saying I am a little dog but I don't believe that. I have a huge personality wrapped up in this little body. I am pretty quiet and only bark when people or dogs are coming by my house. But once they are inside...we are best friends. I enjoy chasing balls and playing with my dog toys. But what I really love is lying on your lap and snuggling with you for as long as you want. I am good on the leash and love my walks. I do try to chase squirrels but as little as I am, I can't really pull you on the leash. I am about 90% house broken and well on my way to be 100%. I just need to be on a schedule and usually have my accidents if I am left along for more that 5-6 hours. I can stay in my crate and only bark a little when you first leave, just in case you are right outside and just forgot about me . But I quiet down after a minute or two and wait for you to come home. My foster mom does let me have the run of the house when she is gone for short periods of time and I am well behaved when she does. I don't chew...well except for newspaper, I do like to shred that. I also sleep well in my crate at night but would be happy to share the bed with you if you want, I mean, I am only 8lbs and do not take up much space. So if you are looking for a big personalty, lots of love to give and unbelievable cuteness in a little body, I am your dog!
